French Doughnut Recipe
Ingredients :* 1/2 cup lukewarm water* 1 tsp salt* 2 tablespoon sugar* 3 tablespoon yeast* 1/4 cup sugar* 1/4 cup melted butter* 2 pcs. Egg yolk* 2 tablespoon evap milk (optional)* 1 tsp dough softener* 4 cups all purpose flour* oil for frying* 2 pcs whole eggsProcedure :
1. Mix 1/2 cup lukewarm water, 2T sugar, 1tsp salt, 3t yeast and set aside for 5-10mins.2. Add 1/2 sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 pcs egg yolk, 2 pcs whole eggs, 1 tsp dough softener.3. Add 4 cups all purpose flour mix and knead the dough until elastic.4. Ferment for 30mins.5. Pouch down flatten dough or rolling in a doughnut cutter.6. Proof for 30 mins. Fry to a moderate heat oil, dredge in a refine sugar.
