Pandesal Recipe
Ingredients :* 1 t yeast* 1 1/2 t sugar* 1 t salt* 1/2 cup lukewarm water* 1/4 cup brown sugar* 1/4 cup veg lard* 4 cup all purpose flour* 1/2 cup evap milk (diluted in 1/2 c water)* bread crumbs* 1/2 t dough softenerProcedure :1. Dissolve yeast 1/2 cup lukewarm water, add 1 t salt and 1 1/2 sugar, set aside from 5-10 mins.2. Add evap milk, brown sugar, vegetable lard,and all purpose flour, mix thoroughly and knead until smooth and elastic and diluted yeast.3. Ferment for 1 hour divide 4 to form a baston.4. Cut into desired pieces and dredge to bread crumbs.5. Final proof for 30 mins. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20mins.
