French Doughnut Recipe



Ingredients :

* 1/2 cup lukewarm water
* 1 tsp salt
* 2 tablespoon sugar
* 3 tablespoon yeast
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 2 pcs. Egg yolk
* 2 tablespoon evap milk (optional)
* 1 tsp dough softener
* 4 cups all purpose flour
* oil for frying
* 2 pcs whole eggs

Procedure :


1. Mix 1/2 cup lukewarm water, 2T sugar, 1tsp salt, 3t yeast and set aside for 5-10mins.
2. Add 1/2 sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 pcs egg yolk, 2 pcs whole eggs, 1 tsp dough softener.
3. Add 4 cups all purpose flour mix and knead the dough until elastic.
4. Ferment for 30mins.
5. Pouch down flatten dough or rolling in a doughnut cutter.
6. Proof for 30 mins. Fry to a moderate heat oil, dredge in a refine sugar.
