Pandesal Recipe



Ingredients :

* 1 t yeast
* 1 1/2 t sugar
* 1 t salt
* 1/2 cup lukewarm water
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 cup veg lard
* 4 cup all purpose flour
* 1/2 cup evap milk (diluted in 1/2 c water)
* bread crumbs
* 1/2 t dough softener

Procedure :

1. Dissolve yeast 1/2 cup lukewarm water, add 1 t salt and 1 1/2 sugar, set aside from 5-10 mins.
2. Add evap milk, brown sugar, vegetable lard,and all purpose flour, mix thoroughly and knead until smooth and elastic and diluted yeast.
3. Ferment for 1 hour divide 4 to form a baston.
4. Cut into desired pieces and dredge to bread crumbs.
5. Final proof for 30 mins. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15-20mins.
